My name is Daniele Ghisleni and I come from Sotto il Monte Giovanni XXIII, a small town immersed in the greenery of the Bergamo area. This is where my passion took shape:walking, observing, losing myself and finding myself in the world,with a backpack on his shoulders and a camera in his hands.
I am a self-taught photographer, driven by the curiosity and from desire to tell what I encounter along the way. My gaze moves between travel photography and outdoor photography, because I feel at home both on a mountain path how much between the streets of a distant city, where every face, every light, every detail has a story to reveal. For me, photography is not just a shot: it's a way of convey beauty,culture and the deep sense of discovery. Behind the lens there is always a person seeking real connections, who walks to understand, who observes to share.
The mountain taught me slowness, listening, respect. The journey opened me to diversity, to the sudden, to the encounter.
Both have become part of my visual and human language. With my photographs I want to tell all of this: the beauty of the mountain peaks, of a square at dawn, of a desert, of a gaze. Because travelling, after all, is a way to feel alive. Sometimes all it takes is a pair of shoes to start you on the right path.
