On the occasion of World Earth Day, AKU reaffirms its commitment to fighting environmental challenges by actively supporting the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA). A founding member of EOCA since 2010, AKU participates in crucial initiatives such as the "Plastic Free Mountain to Sea" project, which combats the dispersion of plastic and microplastics in natural environments. This year, under the aegis of EOCA, the focus is on the "Planet vs Plastics" project, which sets the ambitious goal of reducing plastic production by 60% by 2040, an essential step for safeguarding health human and planetary. AKU is committed not only to reducing environmental impact through the durability of its products but also promotes a production standard that reflects a principle of responsible action, reaffirming its active role in protecting the ecosystem.
