The mountain is beauty, freedom and adventure. But it is also an environment that requires respect, awareness and preparation . Safety in the mountains is never guaranteed. This is why AKU has chosen to focus on what really makes the difference: training.
A commitment that concerns everyone, from enthusiasts to professionals, but above all the volunteers of the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps (CNSAS) , who have been operating throughout Italy for over 70 years in often extreme conditions. With over 7,000 volunteers, the CNSAS is recognized internationally as one of the most advanced organizations in terms of technique and operation , thanks also to the constant attention to preparation.
The collaboration between AKU and CNSAS was born with the aim of supporting training initiatives, aimed at both rescue workers and mountain lovers, to promote the culture of prevention and the conscious use of technical equipment.
The first stage of this project involved the CNSAS station in Genoa in a field training session. Alongside the operational maneuvers, the volunteers received technical updates on the equipment provided by AKU and other partner companies in the outdoor and workwear sector.
For 2025, two new initiatives are planned in different environments, always with the same objective: to train, update, protect.
AKU thus renews its commitment to a mountain experienced with passion, but above all with preparation and responsibility.
