We work with our suppliers to replace virgin materials, where technically possible, with alternatives that reduce the product’s carbon footprint.

A simple way to find out more about the product. We provide information on the product’s composition, the origin of its materials and its features, encouraging more informed purchasing decisions.

‘Design to reduce’ is the guiding principle behind the development of AKU footwear, with particular emphasis placed on finding design solutions that minimise environmental impact.

We have calculated and certified the level of CO2 emissions of each individual model in the collection. The IMPACTO manual helps you understand how we did it.
