Born in Formia, a small town in Lazio nestled between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Apennines, he has had a passion for the outdoors since he was a boy. From hiking around his hometown to the peaks of the Alps, every opportunity is a good one to set off and enjoy the outdoors.stay for a few days in open spaces and with a backpack on your shoulders.
As he grows up, however, life happens to take a more traditional path: he studies and becomes a computer programmer, he starts working but... he uses every free moment to escape into nature: it is only with trekking shoes on that Francesco feels himself. Thatneed for freedom and open spacesit gets louder and louder, until it can no longer be ignored.
An important decision needs to be made: leave your office job and take the course to become aEnvironmental Hiking Guideand launches into a new chapter.

Since 2022 Fra Hikes has been organizing guided excursions, telling and sharing its adventures through the camera, taking those who follow him to the most spectacular places. Francesco has hiked countless trails, paths, and high routes: Santiago, the Western and Eastern Alps, the Dolomites, the Apennines, his home mountains, which have a space all their own in the heart of Fra Hikes.

Nature fascinates him more and more every dayand driven by this passion, Francesco organizes, alone and in company, new treks, explorations or simply days in the open air in search of the beauty that surrounds us.
