My name is Daniele Ghisleni and I come from Sotto il Monte Giovanni XXIII, a small village immersed in the greenery of the Bergamo area. This is where my passion took shape: walking, observing, getting lost and finding myself in the world, with a backpack on my shoulders and a camera in my hands.
I'm a self-taught photographer , driven by curiosity and the desire to share what I encounter along the way. My gaze shifts between travel and outdoor photography, because I feel equally at home on a mountain trail as in the streets of a distant city , where every face, every light, every detail has a story to tell. For me, photography is more than just a shot : it's a way to convey beauty , culture , and the profound sense of discovery . Behind the lens, there's always a person seeking real connections, who walks to understand, who observes to share.
The mountains taught me slowness, listening, and respect . Travel opened me to diversity , the unexpected , and encounters .
Both have become part of my visual and human language. With my photographs, I want to convey all of this: the beauty of mountain peaks, of a square at dawn, of a desert, of a gaze. Because traveling, ultimately, is a way to feel alive. Sometimes all it takes is a pair of shoes to start on the right path.
