For over 25 years, there has been one opponent in the adventures of 71° North that always remains in the race: Norway.
Cold temperatures, long routes, elevation gain and unpredictable conditions set the pace of a journey that pushes contestants far beyond their comfort zones.
Considered the world’s longest-running reality show, the programme makes the Norwegian landscape an active part of the story: a natural setting that is both a majestic backdrop and a testing ground, where endurance, clarity of mind and adaptability make the difference.

Every stage of the reality show has two perspectives: that of the contestants taking on the challenges during filming, and that of the crew following them, stage after stage. Directors, camera operators and sound technicians, often on their feet before a scene begins and still working after it ends. The same kilometres, the same cold, the same difficult terrain.
AKU is there, both in front of and behind the camera: on the feet of three contestants and the entire production staff.
