The greatMichele Bettega is the first alpine guide of the Pale di S. Martino; with him began the epic of the Eagles of San Martino, a long and great history that has lasted for well over a century and goes hand in hand with the mountaineering evolution of the local mountains, the Pale, and with the tourist development of aDolomite pearlsuch as S. Martino di Castrozza with its Primiero valley.
