The mountain makes no distinctions, it welcomes everyone. The " Outdoor for Everyone " project promoted by AKU is based on this principle, transforming inclusiveness from a concept to a concrete experience.
An example of this is the excursion to the Bruto Carestiato Refuge, together with the Italian Union of the Blind and Partially Sighted of Belluno, I.Ri.Fo.R. Onlus of Veneto and the Alpine and Speleological Rescue section of Agordo . An initiative that has allowed partially sighted and blind people to experience the mountain with all its scents, sounds and sensations.
" We firmly believe that nature is a common good ," explains the AKU team. "Our footwear is designed to accompany every hiker, but our commitment goes beyond the product: we want to break down the barriers that prevent people from enjoying the outdoor experience."
Every step on a mountain trail becomes a small but significant personal revolution, a way to reclaim your body and your emotions. AKU continues to support these experiences, demonstrating that when inclusivity drives innovation, trails become truly accessible to everyone .
We firmly believe that nature is a good for everyone.
